UPDATE: This book is more The Handmaid’s Tale than 1984 and the final chapters are depressing and heart-wrenching. Worth the read and then ruminate about after. Read it so I can chat about it with you.
Gary Shteyngart just won the Wodehouse Prize.
Here is a blurb about it:
